Two nights after the drumbeat pulled me into Jacob's death, I still can't get the rhythm out of my head. Now I want to know who he was. I've got two encounters to work from, his testimony back in March and the vision I lived through this week, and together they tell me he was a musician chasing a perfect rhythm that led him straight to Candle Face. But a first name isn't enough. If any of you knew a local musician who disappeared into the woods, I need to hear from you.

Main Subjects: Candle Face

  • Victim #21

Two nights ago, I experienced something truly troubling. Even now, as I sit at my desk, the drumbeat is still in my mind. It follows me wherever I go, as if it’s trying to tell me something I can’t understand. Or maybe Candle Face planted the sound in my head to drive me insane, the way she does with so many of her victims.

I now know that the lost soul’s name is Jacob. But who was he, really? The name alone doesn’t tell me much. I’m convinced he was the creator of that drumbeat, the one that resonated through my chest and synced with the kitchen lights. But I need to know more. What led him to that encounter with Candle Face and her shadows?

When I compare the two encounters, one from March 22, 2024, and the other from November 12, 2024, I can see the case more clearly. The first time Jacob came to me, back in March, he was desperate, speaking of the drumbeat that lured him into the woods. It was terrifying, but back then, I could only hear his words. I knew nothing about remote viewing at the time. I felt his fear, but only from a distance.

This time, the connection was deeper and more immediate. His testimony pulled me into his experience. I felt what he felt and saw what he saw. When Candle Face referred to me as “Jacob,” I was confused at first. I thought she had mistaken me for him, or maybe she was trying to manipulate me. But after I went back over the vision, it became clear. For that moment, his identity swallowed mine. I had become Jacob.

I was witnessing Jacob’s final moments, the day he was taken by Candle Face and her shadows. The vision revealed flashes of his terror, and the frantic drumbeat that was both something he created with his own hands and a signal of his death. But why did Candle Face target him? What was it about Jacob that drew her to him? According to his March testimony, she killed him because he didn’t follow her orders. She wanted him to bring her the nonbelievers, and he couldn’t do it. Other Lost Souls have told me similar stories, ordered to serve her, then punished when they refused.

As I try to piece together more details, I’ve gone back through my journal entries and the scattered clues he left behind. Jacob spoke of shadows in the woods, of a perfect rhythm that called to him, a sound he could never quite replicate. That obsession pulled him into the forest, where he met his end.

Now I can’t let it go. Was he from Central Texas, like so many of the other Lost Souls who have reached out to me? Was he a local musician whose drumbeat was a signature sound that somehow led him to Candle Face? Learning Jacob’s identity matters to Jacob, to my own understanding, and to the other Lost Souls who continue to reach out, desperate for help.

I’m turning to the internet, hoping to figure out who Jacob was and where he came from. If you, my readers, have any information or can help me piece together Jacob’s story, please share what you know. Together, we can solve this case, find out where he lived, and perhaps discover what led him into the woods.

In the meantime, I’ll keep listening to that drumbeat. Not that I have much of a choice. Maybe it’ll give up the answers we need.
