Join me to talk about Candle Face Chronicles, a two-part series that examines Candle Face and the case growing around her. The series includes The Lost Souls and Genesis and invites readers to work with me, a retired intelligence analyst and private investigator with more than thirty years of experience.
Candle Face Chronicles: The Lost Souls is a collection of testimonies and an investigation into real-life encounters with spirits who were victims of Candle Face. As skeptics turned victims share their testimonies, readers are asked to help bring peace to these Lost Souls. That work includes locating spirits’ remains, identifying their killers, piecing together testimonies, analyzing cryptic messages, researching historical records, and sorting through the visions these spirits communicate. Both parts of the Chronicles use technology alongside traditional and unconventional investigative techniques. Participants can also share findings and theories through an interactive website and podcast.
In Candle Face Chronicles: Genesis, the investigation turns more directly to Candle Face herself. It follows visits to haunted sites and discussions with people in paranormal research, theology, and demonology in an effort to understand what she is. Who’s Candle Face? A fallen angel, a demon, or an entirely unknown type of entity?
The Candle Face Chronicles centers on collaborative investigation and reader participation as part of the effort to solve cold cases. Participants are encouraged to share their analysis and add to the investigation.

Arthur Mills
Arthur Mills served for more than two decades as an Army Intelligence Warrant Officer, specializing in piecing together what others missed: patterns, threats, enemy intent, and clandestine activity. He trained intelligence professionals, built threat models, and briefed commanders and world leaders on global threats and battlefield strategy. After retiring from the military, he moved into private investigation, focusing on missing persons, human trafficking, opposition research, and domestic terrorism. He holds a degree in Counter Terrorism Studies.
He has been writing books since 2006 and is an award-winning author. He publishes under his own name, though much of what he has written has appeared under pseudonyms. Readers may already know those titles without knowing they are his. The separation is intentional. His books invite readers to interpret what is hidden, and so does the way he publishes them.
